Cafe La Strada is all about Gourmet Food and Wine. Divided into two rooms, one room boasts wall to wall wine racks, displaying hundreds of bottles, with more in the wine cellar. There are more than 16,000 bottles altogether. Some are sought after reserves and some are estate bottled. We even offer four Gourmet Wine Tasting Dinners.
From start to finish, the food at Cafe La Strada is exceptional. The bread basket contains freshly baked oiled and herbed soft breadsticks which are addictive, but leave room for the delicious food to come. The dishes are an unusual twist on provincial ones. Baked clams, Caesar salad, mozzarella with grilled vegetables are good starters. Breaded veal cutlet with chopped salad, baked canneloni, pan seared tuna and Norwegian salmon with rosemary, lemon and white wine are great entrees. All entrees are generous portions and come with salad and pasta. Luscious homemade desserts include moist ricotta cheesecake, creamy tiramisu, and Napoleon and are a perfect ending to a relaxing evening.
